One Transistor One Resistor (1T1R) is a random access memory cell device in which the transistor isolates the electrical current to cells that are selected from those that are not. The transistor acts as a switch to turn on the access to the memory cell once addressed and programmed, controls the current flowing through the Resistor at ON state, and turns off the transistor once the ReRAM cell is unselected.
