Microcontroller (MCU)

An MCU is an integrated circuit (IC) incorporating a processor (CPU), memory, and programmable input/output peripherals, which is designed to control a specific function of an electronic product. ‘MCU’ can also refer to a microprocessor core/embedded controller targeted for these types of designs.
