At Weebit Nano, we believe technology and responsibility go together. Our vision – of creating a leap forward in storage and computing capabilities that will drive the proliferation of intelligent devices – goes hand-in-hand with our responsibility to act ethically, reduce environmental impact, and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
We are proud to share our inaugural ESG Report 2025, which outlines our strategy, progress, and commitments. We have chosen to adopt best-practice environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards early, ensuring our business grows on a strong and sustainable foundation.
Our ESG Focus
By embedding ESG into our business, we aim to deliver long-term value to all stakeholders and contribute to a more sustainable world.
In 2024, we conducted an independent assessment to identify the ESG priorities for our stakeholders and business.
We defined six key focus areas:
- Diversity – Fostering an inclusive culture with strong female representation across our team and Board
- Responsible Supply Chain – Partnering only with suppliers who uphold fair labor and environmental standards
- Environmental Sustainability – Designing ReRAM technology to help customers reduce energy use, eliminate rare earth materials, and simplify manufacturing
- Business Ethics and Governance – Embedding transparency and accountability across all decision-making
- IP Protection and Cybersecurity – Safeguarding our critical technology and strengthening digital resilience
- Transparency, Honesty, and Integrity – Maintaining open communication with investors, partners, and stakeholders
2025 Highlights
- Environmental: Established Scope 1 & 2 emissions baseline across Israel and France operations
- Workplace: 28% female Board representation and over 30% female workforce participation
- Governance: Zero incidents of corruption, forced labor, or child labor reported
- Cybersecurity: Independent vulnerability assessments completed with action plan in place
- Engagement: 18 ASX announcements, media releases, and investor updates released in FY25
Our Value Chain
Weebit plays a role across the semiconductor ecosystem — from IP design and foundry partnerships to product licensing and end-of-life responsibility. Each stage brings opportunities to embed ESG principles.
Environmental Sustainability
Our ReRAM technology is designed to be inherently sustainable, with:
- Lower energy consumption than conventional memory
- No use of rare earth materials
- Simplified manufacturing with less waste and lower contamination risk
Looking Ahead
As we continue to scale, our ESG roadmap includes:
- Expanding measurement to include Scope 3 emissions
- Transitioning to zero-emissions electricity in Israel
- Strengthening supply chain oversight
